1965 Mustang Fastback Project

Since I am planning to build a pretty strong engine for this car, I decided to upgrade to a 9" rear.  After checking out Ebay and a bunch of other sources, the best route to go is with a reproduction Mustang 9" rear housing from Delta Bay Mustang.  $450 for the housing and you can use you old 8" axles and backing plates.

Swap was made with GT springs from NPD.  Brake parts came from a local parts house and were dirt cheap.  Everything dropped right in like it was suppose to.  Third member is 3.50 open bought at a swap meet for $100.00.  It probably isn't all that good, but for now it rolls.

While we were at it we installed a new gas tank from NPD.  Don't you just love new parts!
