Florida Waterfront Homes

With all the recent news about falling Florida Real Estate prices, a person would think a Florida lake home would be within easy reach of most home buyers.

The truth is Florida lake homes continue to appreciate even in the toughest of times.  The reason is simply supply and demand.  Even though there are literally thousands of waterfront homes in Florida, there are countless numbers of people who yearn to live on a lake.  We are just at the beginning of the Baby Boomer retirement movement and already the starting price for a Florida lake home is in the $300,000s.

Where this will take us in the future is anyone's guess.  Regular real estate prices are dropping because prices have exceeded the ability of people to pay.  This is not the case with lakefront homes and we believe we will continue to see appreciation in waterfront property for years to come.
