Dash out & 1958 Steering Box converstion. |

To make room for the big block, I swapped in a 1958 Ford Steering Box and column. The 58 box is smaller and a much better design. Found a set of 428 CJ heads, so I'm hoping CJ exhaust manifolds will clear he '58 box. Time will tell... |

Here is the inside of the car with the dash removed. Everything is solid with no problems other than 51 years of dust and dirt. |

stripped now and ready for paint. |

steering box and column ready to go back in the car. I disassembled the
entire column, cleaned and painted everything and reassembled it. |
